After the first episode of "EvolGarlic's Modern Caveman Self-Care Series" where I, the "Modern Caveman," actually tried to do a self-care thing in the manner of a man who never did it or never got into it for real.

I was on the roll in this journey of taking care of myself, although I do forget to brush my teeth in the night before hitting the sack; this is the beginning, of course; a principle and a motivated heart will do it for me.

Oh, speaking of "motivated" the motivated, or a little one was so much of a push inside my heart that I was literally buying myself a bar of soap that was built for me, the bar of soap that was born to combat odor, bacteria, rashes, acne,, and athlete's foot.

That soap is named "Asepso," a legend in making that was born in the 1900s in a company called Edward Cook Company; why this bar of soap was born? Because of something called "prickly heat" that came with a recent rise (at that time) of a tropical area, prickly heat can happen (including Thailand here)

It was so good Unilever acquired Asepso in the 1930s, and in 2006, it was also made under the authority of CODAA SWITZERLAND AG and spawned many more types of soap and body wash. However, the original and iconic bar of soap used to cure a prickly heat is still on sale.

Besides that history told by a modern caveman, the reason why I brought this bar of soap into this journey was, to test it, to test this iconic soap in this journey, the soap that was so iconic and bold, some people will not stand the smell of it, but I can, because I got a bad case of body odor, and this of soap might be the one who will conquer it......... Or not.

Hi, EvolGarlic here for "EvolGarlic's Modern Caveman Self-Care Series" journey number 2; the product was an Asepso, and here's a thing I was learn (or did not know because I forgot to journal it) and love about this one bar of soap.

It smells like it was built to clean you!

Let me tell you, the smell of this dark greenish bar of soap with a name that sounds like something is definitely going to smell unique, and unique indeed.

To describe it........ I can't even put it into words to describe it in a detailed way.

It's a smell that once you smell it, you know it's Asepso like you snapping your finger and say "Yep, It is Asepso"

And let me warn you about the smell: if you don't like it, you will not like it because it is so much.

But for me, this is what I needed, to be exact, a bar of soap that had a scent that told me and all people what it was going to do: Clean, Eliminate the bacteria and its friends out of your body.

Effectiveness......

As far as I think (and never journal it in my bullet journal) about this soap, it is a little effective on odor blocking.

It was not effective for me, though, because I did not even notice it worked, and to be honest, since I was a big, sweaty guy who would sweat if the sun went nut and the weather too heated, I think that was also played with.

It's Smell Like Cleanliness Every Time You Use It.

Despite the hiccup, this bar of soap is favored by me because of its smell, and in the bathroom where I do all the scrub and rub, it smells good (unless you don't like it), and I love it.

So, What Next?

Well, here's the thing, I haven't used it till it was small and unusable yet, because sometimes I forget to use it and to make matters worse when I was typing this article (on a Sunday night) and days before it, I was getting checked by the flu from rapidly changing weather, someday it's hot, and the evening it's raining, so my body was not able to handle it and get it, so now my nose is not able to detect scents (till today, the Sunday, where my nose is regaining its scents detection)

And it will be a while until I use all of the two bars that I brought until I can report to you the effectiveness and if I will stick to this brand.

To Sum It Up.

Asepso, Orginal Asepso is what I call "A soap that means businesses" It smells like it wants to clean up you, but since I didn't use it till it ran out yet, it's going to be another episode for it, where I can tell what this soap can perform.

Until then, this caveman will be healing from a fever (or flu, I don't even know anymore now) and get my body back to a normal state, where I can smell things precisely and will resume work again.
