Blue Diamond Almonds Xtremes Korean BBQ Review: The spicy almond was spicy in the middle level, Perfect for rainy times in Thailand.

Hi EvolGarlic here, here's the journal entry for the Products And Services Journal entry :

Thailand is now officially a rainy season, with the weather more unpredictable than before, rain could jump in and ruin your clothes-drying session with a joke of "pretend to be raining just 2 minutes before stop it and summon the sun to make you sweat just by running around picking cloth from rain and drying them again" or sometimes, the rain will come with the storm that sometime hard, or rain hard all day to make you stuck at home because the weather is a temptation for sleeping again, although you did that many hours ago.

While you are stuck in this chilling season in your own space, of course, you need something to munch on to embrace the rainy weather, although there are many snacks to chew on, I will find something that people don't eat, because let's face it, regular snack is good, but not enough, and since I want to swap something to more healthy as much as I can, I have to find a snack that falls in that category.

I realised that I had walked past it the entire time: a nut snack, especially the almond, which is a little bit pricy than most of the snacks on the shelf but it is better than eating potato chips for too long and too much.

There are a handful of brands that sell almonds, but one particular brand was a pioneer in the almond snack: Blue Diamond, the king of almond snacks and the papa of all the almond brands.

The magic of Blue Diamond Almonds was born in 1910, as The California Almond Growers Exchange was built and founded to embrace the new wave of almond industry, which the entrepreneur was finding a good spot in the soils of Sacramento, Monterey and Los Angeles, where the almonds are nestled in happily.

Four years later (1914), the place opened up a new receiving and packaging plant to turn the almond into cash, and a year later, the name "Blue Diamond" was born, a nice name for the place where you expect the best almond in the country.

After years of innovating, delivering a ton of almonds: 20 million pounds to be exact, and improving the quality, the famous Blue Diamond Smokehouse Almond in the 6-ounce can be introduced, with the taste that says Blue Diamond, this can be a beginning for the Blue Diamond to hit the market.

In 1980, The California Almond Growers Exchange has now been changed to Blue Diamond Growers, officially finally found its identity, to make it more clear, Blue Diamond released the "A can a week, that’s all we ask." television advertisements campaign to invite the customer to invite the Almonds to their weekly diet.

Today, Blue Diamond is the king of the almond snack and milk, with the Blue Diamond Almond Innovation Center which was the first in the world to be dedicated to research all about almond products, and their high-quality production system which keeps up to the high demand of Almond, Blue Diamond has mastered the almond products and give us the customer a nice Almond to chew.

Nowadays Blue Diamond Almond snack has a lot of flavours to munch on, ranging from lightly salted, classic, smoked and even chocolate coated to spicy, but I selected from the Xtremes line, which has three main flavours that range from low heat to the maximum sweating heat such as the level one Sriracha sauce, level two Korean BBQ, and the level three spicy of the Volcano, I selected the middle level one because although I do eat the Sriracha one beforehand, that one is easy to handle, and since I don't want to risk eating the volcano one which might make me spitting fire like a dragon, I can handle the Korean BBQ flavour one which has the intensity that I can handle.

Hi EvolGarlic here; here's the review article about a snack that could replace your regular snack: it's delicious, it's healthy (somewhat) and has some kick in it, introducing Blue Diamond Almonds Xtremes Korean BBQ!

The factors used to review the product under the category of "Almonds Snack" are as follows: Packaging, Taste, Uniqueness and Price, each worth 25 points in each factor, a total of 100 points overall score.

[Packaging]

Blue Diamond Packaging is known for being simple but recognizable: if you see the diamond logo with the "Blue Diamond" word and the handful of Almonds, you know that it is a blue diamond Almond.

In the case of the Blue Diamond Almonds Xtremes Korean BBQ, the sachet is coloured in a somewhat darkish red and decorated with fire, almonds, and one chilli pepper to indicate what it is in the package.

Pretty simple and reasonable: 25 points out of 25 points!

[Taste]

As I mentioned before, I selected this flavour because I am curious about the middle-level taste, which I might handle well.

The taste of it somewhat tasted like a spicy Korean BBQ (although I never eat real spicy Korean BBQ, I have to presume that the real one might taste like this). It will attack your taste buds with a somewhat tangy, salty, spicy taste and a little hint of soy sauce and paprika.

with the spicy factor in the middle level, the level that you can handle well, it is a handful in the factor of the intensity, definitely gives you some fiery breath and burns your tongue a bit, and the Almonds which was the thing that carries this spicy taste is playing well in the balancing the taste and remind you that you are chewing almond, a high-quality almond which goes well with the spicy taste.

Although there might be some brands that will have a more spicy taste that coated their nut snacks or potato chips, this combination of almond and spicy Korean BBQ flavour in this blue diamond is a force to be reckoned with.

[Uniqueness]

Besides being tasty and spicy, I do discover what makes this sachet of snack unique: the combination of almonds and spicy flavour.

Yes, as I mentioned before, there might be another brand of snacks that have the taste that can match this one or, even better, have the best taste than this one, but as far as I am concerned, I think this one is a good combination taste that both sides play well together.

[Price]

For one sachet of this snack, the price that you would pay is 30 baht($1 ish) , the same price range as other blue diamond almonds, definitely more expensive than other nut snacks, which might be tastier than this.

But for the value of it, the taste, the experience of burning the taste buds with the combination, and somewhat healthier alternatives to other snacks, it is worth a try.

If you don't want to try it, Blue Diamond Almond does have the original blue diamond Almond, which is a nice snack without the burning sensation, or if you don't want to spend money every time you crave it, there is a big bag version of the original taste, which is more expensive, but if you don't chuck it all up in one sit and eat it in the good amount, the big bag is a good choice, Blue Diamond Almond also have another flavour to choose from, so if you want to taste other flavour that fit your style, go ahead and try it, also there is another brands of Almond like Koh-Kae, Tong Garden and many more to choose from.

But if you want to eat it as a snack and want something spicy to cure the blues that came with rain, this Blue Diamond Almond has the factors!

25 points out of 25 points.

With all the factors combined, EvolGarlic Product and Service Journal is proud to give Blue Diamond Almonds Xtremes Korean BBQ a 100-point overall score.

To sum it up : this is one of the best spicy snacks I ever chew on and not feeling like a fire dragon, it is a goodness of Almond snack in the coat of spicy sensation, although the price might burst your wallet, if you love nuts and something spicy, this one might get you grabbing it into the basket!
