Goodbye '24, Hello '25, And EvolGarlic is looking back at the year that was one of those years that wild (and evolution)
What a wild year, what a ride it was.
Hi EvolGarlic here, Here's the last newsletter of 2024 from your truly EvolGarlic, From the EvolGarlic's Article Pelican Newsletter on Substack :
The date (that this article was typing and will be uploading) was 12/31/2024, the time was few hours away from the midnight, and the atmosphere was filled with joy, a unusual amount of food and the fireworks, because the 2024 will soon be gone, and the 2025 will be in place once the clock strike midnight, and it's time to look back at the year that I have to consider to be “wild” because it is filled with new things and unexpected things.
From hottest month of April, where 42 celsius is the maximum that the temperature will go, to the unexpected flooding that hit our town after 16 years ago, From the beginning of this experiment of weekly article (before this, I was uploading article when ever I finished, sometime took two weeks) to the weekly of the unexpected where the article could be something that you don't expected.
It was beginning as a short review for the spicy snack (Karamucho Corn Snacks article in the August, I don't count the intro post) but soon expanded to multi subject article, ranging from my old fashion product review, to the new horizons of Books and Stationery, and even a food blog.
And since this newsletter is the last one of the year, I wanna thank my guts and courage for actually trying Substack and actually sticking with the idea of a weekly article (although I skipped some of my schedule day of Friday) till the end of the year.
But the Pelican scoop of Pelican would not have delivered the article without you, yes you! The bunch who subscribe to this little Substack, the people who read the article, if it wasn’t you, my Pelican is going to fishing in the pond till it become a thick Pelican really thank you for your tender love for this little Substack run by a man who use a pen name that sound funky.
Although I didn't engage or interact with you a lot (on Substack and Ko-fi) , next year I will muster up the courage to do it.
So as the clock goes tick tock till it reach the midnight, let's grab your favorite drinks, toast to the '24, and welcome the ‘25, where it will be another 365 days of evolving one step at times, and I'll definitely evolving the Article Pelican Newsletter on Substack, One step at a time.
And thank you again for riding along with EvolGarlic.
Happy New Years from your truly EvolGarlic.
