Here's what I found when I ate the last pack of the Pokemon-themed Oreo: EvolGarlic's Products Reviews.
Well, I did not expect to find some Mew, but let's go and do it anyway.
Hi EvolGarlic here and welcome to your newsletter of the week, from yours truly Article Pelican :
When there's a certain thing to collaborate with brands, it's usually something interesting, especially if it involves Pokemon, whether it is a product that is designed with Pokemon on it, free things when buying that product, or just overall themed products, it seems like a special product for those who love pokemon.
My interest in Pokemon was ignited back in 2021 when I was looking for a fandom to join to expand my knowledge and find something to watch, it started with Pokemon Unite, soon expanding to more games like Pokemon GO, and even went into their to understand a meme, but what I found to be most interesting in the community is I used to watch Pokemon anime series back then when I was a kid, which if I remember correctly, I watch it on the CD version of the first series, and I remember how Ash (Satoshi in Japan and Thailand) starts his journey to become a Pokemon master, which is nice to throwback to the simpler time where cartoons on tv and CDs are very enjoyable to watch.
9 generations of Pokemon and a new storyline of the Pokemon anime series (after Ash finally reached his goals twice, if I remember correctly... Later, I finally fell in love with Pokemon, and this year, I was finally eating things with Pokemon on them.
At this year, the beginning of this year to be exact, Oreo and Pokemon collaborated on one of the biggest campaigns ever created by Oreo, where each Oreo contained everyone's favorite Pokemons on the cookies, if you are lucky enough, you may find Mew, the mystical pokemon of the first generation which might cost over thousands of dollar, some people are lucky, some may not, as long as you enjoy the taste of Oreo and the joy of finding your favorite pokemon on the cookie, I do want my gengar appear on my Oreo next time.
Many months later, while shopping in my BigC Minimart, I discovered the last pack of chocolate flavor Oreos sitting on the shelf, so I thought to myself, "Let's buy this pack and see what's inside; maybe find a mew?". After thinking about it, I decided to buy it and take it home, put it in the fridge to make the taste more enjoyable, and wonder what Pokemon was waiting inside.
After waiting for the right time to enjoy the Oreo, the time was set, so I grabbed the Oreos from the fridge, sat on the table, and revealed one by one cookie to see what Pokemon was on each of the Oreos, here's what I found :
1. Pikachu

The first one up is the franchise mascot, the most recognized face of the world; once you hear its voice, you'll know it's it: it's Pikachu!
2. Bulbasaur.

The second cookie contains the first Pokemon in the Pokedex entry, everyone's favorite grass-type starter Pokemon.
3. Sableye

The third one is the Pokemon, which you would not have as a pet if you own a lot of jewelry; it's Sableye!
4. Piplup.

The fourth one is the Generation 4 water-type starter, the cutie pie, and Piplup!
5. Sableye.

The fifth one is the first duplicate in the pack, as Sableye is in the fifth spot in the pack.
6. Pancham.

The sixth Pokemon in the pack is a swagger, the baby panda Pokemon, Pancham! Look at that leaf on the mouth!
7. Jiggglypuff.

Up next is everyone's favorite singer (that put you to sleep) and favorite slapper, Jiggglypuff!
8. Squirtle.

On the Eighth spot goes to everyone's favorite gang leader and the first water-type starter, the one swag turtle Squirtle! Although if the Squirtle on this cookie has a shade, that will made it better.
9. Pikachu.

The second duplicate Pokemon in the pack is none other than your superior electronic mouse.
10. Sandshrew.

On the perfect ten spot is none other than everyone's favorite Sandshrew!
11. Sableye.

It seems like two sneaky jewelry Pokemon are not enough, as the pack gave me 3 of them!
12 and 13. Sandshrew.

And in the last two spots in the pack, it goes to Sandshrew.
Although I didn't find anything good or the rare Pokemon inside, this pack gives a few happy moments while eating it, I do hope that in the time that those two collaborate again, we might find a new Pokemon in the pack, especially Gengar, but for now, let's hope that you are happy with those things that make you happy just like you were young.
Do you have any nostalgic things that you still enjoy today? Share it with me; maybe we can find another Pokemon lover; thank you very much for reading this newsletter; until then, see you next time!
