I Found an old Zebra Mildliner Highlighter and used it to mark down my favourite word in the book, here's what I found out about it. : EvolGarlic's Stationery Turmoil Series.

If I didn't have this highlighter pen to adventure in the world of books, I will not know everything.

Hi EvolGarlic here, sorry for the late newsletter that should have been dropped off on Friday, but was postponed due to inconvenience caused by flatulence that hit my tum harder than a bee, but here's the long-awaited newsletter in the series of EvolGarlic's Stationery Turmoil, the series where I review the stationery item for you, with the same fun and informative style.

Although this one will not be a full review of it, but rather a story about a certain item which is important for a certain task: reading a book, yes, the item in this article is important to another article series: EvolGarlic's Barely Reads, the article series which I read a book and tell you about what I learn in it.

Imagine me, EvolGarlic, armed with nothing but a curious mind and a time in hand of 30 minutes to discover each section of the book, in this case, the Ryder Carrolls Bullet Journal Method, at first I was scrolling through the book and trying to remember which word was hitting me hard in my brain but then I realised that I should use something to mark that word so that would be easy to do, so I thought of one thing: Highlighter!

But my thought didn't think about buying it for a week until one day in the timeline of adventuring in the book I found something wonderful hidden in my brother's box full of things, it was a highlighter named Mildliner by Zebra, with somewhat boldly yellow colour, but unlike other highlighters, I saw or know, this one shape like a pen, which might be common or uncommon, because when I thinking about highlighter pen, I think about the rectangle shape, so I picked it up and clean it since it is collecting a handful of dust, which tell me that this one is forgotten piece of tool that might be sitting in the box for quite some time.

After using it a lot to mark down the part of the book which I found to be a hit in my life, in both the Bullet Journal Method book and the other book which I brought recently, I discovered a lot of features and hidden con and pro in the time I use it to adventure in the book, here's what I found :

[You can't lose the cap]

Really to praise the person who is about detail while designing, the caps on both sides can be on top of each other, so the cap will not lost.

[Leak less than another highlighter pen, Depends on how much you put the weight and the type of paper]

I have to be honest with you: I didn't know this feature until I researched the Zebra Mildliner Highlighter on the internet and found out that this pen will not leak through the paper; as it turned out, it was correct, mostly.

But as I have used it for a long time, I found out that while it is not leaking through paper, it is leaking a bit but not much.

Still, it could be worse, it could be another brand of highlighter pen which are leaking, though, but that all depends on how much you put weight on each stroke and the type of paper you highlight it on, but so far, Mildliner seem to do the job well.

[The grip of it might be too small for my big hand]

As you know, or may not know, my hand is somewhat big, and this highlighter pen has unfortunately placed the gripper part lower than what my pen has, which makes it a little bit awkward to use since the position of this highlighter pen is lower than my regular use pen, I prefer to hold above the gripper part which is comfortable to hold since I'm used to that position.

But no matter what position my hand and fingers are holding, the line of the highlighter pen is still wobbly; I have been rubbish at making a line in my study book since I was in elementary school till high school, and I can't do it without a ruler.

[Still performing well despite being unused for a long time]

I don't know the history of this Highlighter pen, the day it got brought and the day it got to rest in the box, but I do know that this one is still doing well after some time in the box, it is bit of faded in some messages in highlight, but not too much that it barely covers the letters and alphabet.

That's is what I have learned and discovered so far while using this old Zebra Mildliner Highlighter pen, while this pen has a quirk I love and weak spots which are acceptable, this Mildliner Highlighter is a well-designed and performing highlighter pen, imagine if I buy the new one and use it, it might be worth reviewing, but for now, ill stick with this one till it run out of juice or I mark all the messages I found in the books, until then, EvolGarlic here, thank you for reading, and see you in the next article!
